hey guys

I recently bought a used PSP slim for $170 from the local EB games here in Canada, and I was quite shocked at how I was handled by one of the employees. She kept trying to get me to buy a new one, and tried to make a fresh looking PSP seem harmful. When all was said and done and I purchased it with a 1 year warranty, I only discover now that the PSP was actually a phat one. Never have I felt so lied to and ripped off in my life as a gamer.

Can any of you discuss your worst game shopping experience or biggest ripoff?

Fresh from listening to the latest episode of the Prototype, I have two questions for you, Handsome Tom (though Liz, Joe, Mickey, Classyman, and others can partake in as well):
1) What are your thoughts about Ren and Stimpy?
2) Do you think cartoons today are stuck in a creativity slump? What I mean is, is animation in general (anime included) not pushing the boundaries in terms of storytelling, art, direction, and appeal?

to tom i never played duke nukem and i was wondering is the franchise something i should get into or is it a doom rip off what makes it diffrent from other first person shooters?

Dear Liz, Mickey, Tom, Joe, and classy man

My question today is with the evolution of gaming. I am not sure if you read the article on cnn.com (http://www.cnn.com/2008/TECH/09/11/imme ... index.html ). With today's financial market in the slumps and with home and local entertainment on the rise do you see gaming going to more high power equipment like we saw with the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 when they where first released. Or like the Wii with its low cost equipment. Also on that note do you see the software company's that produce games (like capcom) taking a step back 10 years and looking at the games that change the face of gaming for new Ideas or are they just trying to make gaming a cheaper way of local entertainment instead of paying $60 for a high power graphics game ? I would like to hear all of your thoughts guys on where you see the industry moving too.

Have any of you ever played the little big adventure series on the PC and if so what is your opinion of it? I love those games! (they were called relentless and Twinsens odyssee in the states I think)

Tom- Since you're such a huge Duke Nukem fan, what would you do if you saw all the Duke Nukem ForEver developers sitting on their lazy asses instead of developing the game, and you had Gordon Freeman's crowbar?

Mickey- When will you shut up about Nintendo going casual? There not going to forget the years they created some of the best games ever. What makes you think they're just going to abandon their old ways?

My video game collection is going great. I recently got my friends Nintendo 64 and all of his old n64 games (for free), so now I have all the Nintendo consoles
