I can't believe it took me all this time to get why the pokemon themed ones are a single post rank. Well played!

Hmm, I might be totally wrong but I'm gonna take a crack at the "Disposable Soldiers" rank.

From what I can tell (and I don't recognise every character shown so I may be wrong) they are all just the nameless generic "soldiers" from various Final Fantasy games, like the brown colored dudes are generic soldiers from FF6 for example.

I don't know if that's right or not but also if there's some significance to the number 255, it's over my head (HP?) *shrug*.

You're very close on both guesses, but they're too vague to count. However you're definitely on the right path.

Hint: The Disposable Heroes rank might help you out.

The disposable soldiers rank

here's my theory about it

i think its the soldiers that have sacrificed themselves for a cause like the crusaders against Sin , the galbadia soldiers fighting the balamb students. they seem to be composed of soldiers who have died in most of the epic battles in the FF series.

Equally close, but still no cigars. :)

Also, any additional information on Disposable Heroes would be helpful too, since GamerChris only got it half right.

in FFX-2 they were archadian guards in VI they were vector guards...

DING! DING! DING! :) Now solve the 255 riddle (it's easy if you play RPGs) and the rest of Disposable Heroes and you win a cookie.

DING! DING! DING! At least for the rest of the sidekicks. 255 is still up in the air.

420 posts with Henchman rank:

"Mother...is awesome man."

Saw Beeslo with it minute or so ago...I wanna say that it's just a Guitar Hero 2 thing, what with the little hippy dude with the guitar, and "Mother" being a song in GH2. But I get the feeling there's more to it than that.

I know the hippy is connected to the 420 post count though.
