Ironically, my friend picked that up this past weekend. He was extremely curious to see how it would work and was a little disappointed to find out that the SNES is just being used as a power supply.

However, it might solve some problems the Genesis was having on his projector as the sound and picture quality was much better going through the Super Nintendo.

some games are hit or miss. and it also depends on the TV or whatever you are using. im thinking its based on the model 1 because the powerbase converter works on it. I had the same impression about the fact that its only using the snes as a power supply. at least the av cords that come with it appear to be a quality purchase
