Well I'm planning on trying out the multiplayer, but like I said previously I really don't like playing hoard-like modes with random people I don't know due to frustration. It just sucks that it sounds like if I want to get the very best ending possible, which is what I'm striving for in my first playthrough, I have to play multiplayer and from what I understood from all the pre release information that wasn't supposed to be the case at all.

Y'know, I'm not big on Multiplayer... or maybe just not competitive shooters... since I guess I do play a lot of Multiplayer. Either way, Multiplayer is strangely addictive, and it's refreshing to play characters who AREN'T Shepard. Seriously, running around as a Krogan and charging into guys and going into a blood rage is probably one of the coolest things ever, and I don't even like Krogan!

Yeah, going to give it a shot but I'm hooked on the story so far so... not jumping in quite yet.

The story is dope, I just find that I'm jumping on multi-player way too much. I'm a sucker for co-op maps + kill achievements are faster to get on these missions. Its cool that it helps the war readiness and amps the survival rate so it all good, + the first time I ever purchase a Spectre kit I get an Ansari Adept and an arc pistol!? I'm there bro.

The PS3 version of the game has a lot of technical issues. One of the side quests is literally broken for me and there is no way I can complete it, which really sucks.

Something about the cover mechanic in this game seems wonky, sort of like they tried to improve it so much that they ended up going backwards. I will be in the middle of a firefight and I will have a hard time moving from wall to wall or clinging to a wall. Not that it matters, I might as well be fighting in the open because the cover mechanic in this game isn't worth a shit. I still get hit by enemies from 20 feet away even if I am taking cover.

The story seems a bit out there and implausible but I suppose the first and second game had that going for it too. I'm not there yet but I hear the ending to this game is very convoluted and an all around dogshit ending. I really hope it's not that bad of an ending.

Aside from all of this, I'm still having a blast with this game. Absolutely love it.

Think I'm half way through the game now. Loving the game so far, but yeah a lot of people are up in arms about the ending. I guess we'll have to wait and see on that...

I actually think I am less riled up about the ending than most, I would be ok with this ending actually if it wasn't for a few glaring problems with it and one huge continuity error.

I need to confess... I spent like 5 dollars on microtransactions for the Multiplayer. In my defense, the points were just sitting there and left over... and I caved into my addiction and love of trading cards. That being said, I'm not paying any more than that. I've been hearing about people dropping down 20 - 100 dollars on Multiplayer. That's some AMAZING balls/stupidity people have to assume the Multiplayer is going to be around for that long. I wouldn't be surprised to see it die out in the matter of a month or two. That's one of the main reasons I think I've been focusing on multiplayer specifically.

I want to slap anyone that spends $100+ on DLC for one game, especially microtransaction crap in games like the ME3 multiplayer. If you have the points lying around fine, I get it but how do people have all this money for virtual goods? I simply cannot understand it! if you have money to burn help my broke-ass! I'll send you a virtual gun! It might be as jpg of a gun, but it's a gun!

I doubt the multi-player would last that long anyway...I'd give it half a year, even less.

Zombies, would you mind linking the ending with the 5 second clip at the end?
I think I got one of the secret endings but I was reeling so much from the "twist" that I'm not really sure.

So I played an hour or two of the multiplayer last night it was... ok. Not the best hoard-like mode I've played. It can't touch COD zombies or hell, even Transformers: War for Cybertron's hoard-like mode. I do say since I'm primarily a sniper in the single-player it's still really fun to snipe in the multiplayer (until enemies start spawning behind you... ugh...).

My concern though, as I said awhile back, is the team you play on. The first few rounds I played I had a really good team that worked together but it soon went downhill with people running off doing their own thing instead of working as a team. One guy just ran around the whole map solo meleeing enemies. By the time we got to round 6 or 7 this stopped being effective for this idiot and he kept getting downed and it was all downhill for the team from there. This is the reason I hate playing modes like this with people I don't know.

But yeah, it's pretty fun but not the greatest thing ever as some people have made it out to be (looking at you Mike Dodd) and I don't see it lasting longer than a few months. I'll stick with zombies.

You should be playing with Mike, Pat, & the rest of us. We've been doing silvers pretty well.

Also, the crazy solo in your face people are probably playing Vanguards. They're sort of meant to be all up in your face solo machines, but then you have to hardcore tone that down, and some people don't. They're probably the hardest class to play, and the easiest class to n00b play and think you're doing good.
