Discuss all your expectations, hopes and predictions for the upcoming (and long delayed...) NBA season!

Few questions to start with,

Will the Clippers be the big thing in 2012?

Can Chicago, Oklahoma and Memphis all still be in contention for the championship in shortened seasons?

Will the Lakers and Boston still be relevant come finals?

And finally, will LeBron ever get a ring?

Go Celtics! Pumped for the NBA to finally be back!

The lockout fixed nothing

The lockout may seem to have not changed much, but I think it will greatly affect teams chances throughout the condensed and shortened season, don't have much of an opinion on the lockout itself, since I don't live in America and don't know any specifics other than that it was a payment dispute between owners and players association

The idea behind it was to give teams less money to pay for players so that we wouldn't see giant contracts or teams hoarding up all the talent and creating their own "Big 3", thereby balancing teams so that everyone had a shot. That failed, cause the trend is still happening

At least for the Celtics, the Lakers and Mavs are both 0-2 and are 'technically' worse, but that might not last long when my Celtics take on Miami Heat tomorrow, hope Pierce plays otherwise we might be in for a rough game!

I also wanted to answer your questions:

Will the Clippers be the big thing in 2012? - I sure hope so cause I hate the Lakers and want CP3 to take over LA.

Can Chicago, Oklahoma and Memphis all still be in contention for the championship in shortened seasons? I think the Bulls def can and will be. I'm not sure about the other 2, but I really hope they will.

Will the Lakers and Boston still be relevant come finals? I think they will be relevant and do well during the season, but I want new blood in the finals.

And finally, will LeBron ever get a ring? If he does, I will cry.

We'll see...once Bibby/Davis can play I feel like we're gonna be a really cohesive team. I'm sick of watching Toney Douglas aka Jamal Crawford 2.0 run the point like a shmuck.

Lakers, Boston and Dallas combine for a total of 1-7,

Oklahoma has impressed again so far, another great game vs Memphis, always great to watch! Durant in hot form too.

Anyone got any predictions or guesses for MVP? Durant looking good early on for me, LeBron is playing great too and Rose will be great with the Bulls again but clearly it is far too early to get a clear picture
