Shit son! That's a steal! I payed $70 for Illusions of Gaia, Secret of Mana, FFII, FFIII, FF Mystic Quest and Crono Trigger a couple years back and I thought that was a steal. But to be fair FFIII was complete in box even with the world map, bit you can easily pay at LEAST $30 for one of those games.

Also, A Link to the Past... god I love that game. Think I may try a speedrun of it over the break too. Lots of gaming ahead!

The one reason why I play my 3DS again. Absolutely love this game as I do with all Mario games, also hope to get Mario Galaxy 2 in the future since I never got it

I beat World at War ... it gets worse as you go.

Wow, really poorly made and it feels really disrespectful. In such a way that ... I kind of expected the last mission to be dropping bombs on Japan, considering how they handled everything else. Oh but you get a nice video of it :\

I'm just about done with CoD, in general. Infinity Ward fucked up their games by streamlining areas that needed to be more robust and keeping broken mechanics ... and Treyarch doesn't know how to make video games, apparently.

I enjoyed the Black Ops story. It does continue of from World at War a bit but they went the less realistic route. Multiplayer's good too, which never happens with a Treyarch game. I wish MW3 kept the gun game and stick and stones. I miss those modes and I may just jump back into Black Ops just to play them.

If you didn't like WaW or MW2, give Black Ops a chance, it has a lot going for it.

I agree with Black. Black Ops just had a better sense of fun. Crazy gametypes, attach whatever you want to your guns, change the camo, make a gametag, blow up people with RC cars, snipe from a drive in theater, fight zombies.

MW3 just played it safe and went more realistic. Boring gray ruined building/highway/whatever levels, boring game modes, lamer guns, annoying unlocks, less customization.

Fox pretty much nailed it. While I am enjoying MW3 iI can see it getting boring after awhile with the same ol' game types over and over. I have been trying others to keep it fresh but they're all modes which were in previous games.

I can't believe I'm going to say this but I can't wait for Black Ops 2 (so it's rumored) and I hope Treyarch keeps the fun wager matches which helped break up all the team deathmatch etc. and add in some new modes. Hell, if I got frustrated in multiplayer I would go into combat training make it me vs. 8 bots and have a blast. I can't believe they didn't even put that feature into MW3. It helps you learn the maps and helps curve the frustration left by going up against people who play the game 24/7...

Dammit... I think I might have to put Black Ops back into my Xbox for a bit now... I was very close to finishing my second prestige too, a first for me in a COD game (even though I'm already about to do my first prestige in MW3 a month after release).

Alright. I don't really care about MP though in most FPS games. I got my fill of them last millennium. I find coop much more interesting. I think the only vs shooter MP I kinda like is the Enemy Territory/Battlefield like gameplay. Though I do like Unreal Tournament CTF a lot ... It's just fun.

I just felt World at War was really immature, in a very bad way.

MW2 ... I stopped playing at the cabin. The ancient lazy design is really just, it's too much to really condone. I'll probably finish it at some point, but it's not very high on my to do list. I would like to play the Spec-Ops stuff, though. But none of my buddies have it.

I just recommend giving Black Ops a whirl at least. Might get some of the terrible World at War taste out of your mouth. Co-oping combat training is fun with a few friends, especially if you make weird rules for yourselves like my buddies and I did. For example: Only using the ballistic knife and grenades. You only get two ballistic knives, but you know where you shot one you can pick it up again. Run out of ammo ánd grenades, you're only allowed to knife enemies. Great way to get used to the ballistic knife if you want to try Sticks and Stones, which is a mega fun mode. Things like this make me miss Black Ops.

Do you have MW2 on PC, 360 or PS3. My guess is PC but I've been meaning to finish the Spec Ops missions in the 360 version.

beat Pursuit Force. It certainly has a lot of content and it's a fun little game. The driving is fun and tight, but the on foot sections aren't that good. It's a great thing that there are only a few sections that have that. The bullet-time effect is also a lot of fun to pull off when you're jumping from car to car. Overall, not a bad game and worth the free price from Sony's Welcome Back plan.

I think I'll move onto Chrono Trigger next.

I am about to beat Dark Souls. To be honest, this game can be a little challenging at times, but it's nowhere near as hard as everyone made it out to seem. If your all around good at video games, then this game can be quite easy. Anyways I'm about to beat it, I'll check back to let you know when I finished it.

Beat GTA4.

I'm not really sure what to think, to be honest (as late to the party as I am) ... while there's tons of improvements ... the game overall is still so ... broken.

Rockstar keeps creating this huge environments then using that as an excuse to not make solid game mechanics. Making an action game with enemies that have impeccable aiming and a character that is a tissue level bullet sponge and giving the player the response times of a point and click adventure game is NOT fun.

The biggest problem with the game is the ludicrous level of frustration from the pure lack of polish to the game mechanics.

Rockstar needs to take a note from Naughty Dog's playbook and iterate on what they have instead of throwing the entire thing out again and starting from scratch. This game has minor improvements in functionality over GTA3 ... and that's fucking pathetic.

While it's not a bad game. I think it's come to the point in time where ... GTA5 needs to play solidly or it's just going to be horseshit. The novelty of just being able to shoot people and go anywhere in a big city is not an excuse to have the most ludicrously obnoxiously clunky controls schemes I've seen in the last 5 years ... only to be trumped by games that were released unfinished ... and other GTA titles.

Get your shit together, Rockstar.

Currently waiting for it to be shipped but it's been pre-ordered! Day after I did this they announced an 'actual' release date for Australia as being 'tentatively' as March 1st, but I should have it within the first week of 2012, even if I won't have Oceania servers for a few months

I beat Resident Evil 3, meaning that I cleared the PS1 games. Honestly, I can't describe the game other than perfect. Everything was so polished and the dodging and weapon mixing systems worked fantastic. And this game was the hardest out of the series for me, because you could only choose either easy or hard mode. Easy mode just gave you everything from the get go and just made it not as fun as scavenging the items. Hard mode was pretty challenging, because of the zombies and Nemesis. Speaking of which, Nemesis is the best boss I faced in the entire series. I swear, he scared the crap out of you, because you know you would be screwed if you got near him. The game did get easier as you progressed, because of the different weapons that made the job more efficient. Overall, I loved this game and it's easily one of the best games I played. Even though I'm sad that I finished the PS1 games, it ended on a fantastic note. Now I just have Code Veronica left.

And the Barry cameo was amazing. :-D

So series ranking so far:

1/3 > 2 (barely inferior, though I need to play it again) > 4 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lost in Nightmares >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>5

Beat Xmen: Destiny. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be be.... but it was still really bad. I think the die 100 times achievement is near impossible unless you walked away from the controller for an hour. I died one time in my whole playthrough and that's because I got careless after all the button mashing. Might play it one more time to side with the Brotherhood and clean up the rest of the achievements I missed... but not sure if I want to go through that "fun" all over again. If you pick up this game up, play it on the hardest difficulty from the start as there's no challenge otherwise.

I like this because I also just finished GTA 4 a little while back,
I really thought it was a great game the way of how raw and gritty it was when you were gunning people down in missions was just so cool and bad ass.
not as good as the old ones but still great. :P
