Is going to be an awesome game. They are doing much to improve some of the things people had with the first game. Things like:

- bigger open worlds
- more diverse environments
- more interactions with NPCs
- more guns and noticeable differences between guns
- better story
- different cast of playable characters (although something tells me they won't be as likable as the first ones)

Yep, this game is looking pretty good so far. Who's excited about it and why?

I've been knee deep in Borderlands pretty recently. I got the GOTY version earlier this year and a friend of mine finally bought it, so we've been playing. It's pretty awesome.

The characters you were in the first one are NPCs in the second one, apparently.

I really hope they make it so you can modify guns you already got, though ... like, I keep running into guns like the one I have, but it's more powerful, but it's missing a feature, like a nice scope. I should be able to purchase little upgrades like that.

Overall, I love the first one and if they tighten it up I'd be looking at this like an Uncharted 1 to Uncharted 2 situation. (Awesome becomes awesomer)

Oh I'll be getting this game. Love me some Borderlands and can't wait to see the changes in 2 in motion.

In Borderlands 2 I want: A place to store all my guns and items, collectible armor specific to whatever class I'm playing and it would be cool if it was open world but the first one was very non linear so it's okay either way.

I think the thing I'm most excited about, though, is that now we can explore more of Pandora. You can see the mountain tops when you're in Fyerstone and the recent 14 minute demo that's been leaked shows you playing in an area like that. Just looks awesome.

I also like a lot of the improvements in enemy navigation. They'll climb stuff now.

I just hope they make it so Bandit Psychos don't have PERFECT tomahawk aim. Jesus christ that shit pissed me off.

I loved Borderlands and I got on that bandwagon LATE. Unfortunately I never got around to playing much past 10 hours or so but man, it was great. I think I'll plug it back in here soon and give it another run because I really enjoyed the crap out of that game.

I just about fainted when I saw some screen shots of BL2, it looks fabulous.

I just looked at the time index of my original character ... it's measured in days

Don't forget there will be more vehicles than just the one in the original.

I'm still working my way through the DLC. Need to give that one a try!
