I may not be a fan of his, but for a store to ban Action Comics until Morrison leaves the book over "GD" is one of the stupidest overreactions I've heard of. Especially when he says he has no problem had it been any other character saying it.

On one side they're right. Morrison took the "back to his roots" thing a step too far. But this reaction is two steps too far, if you ask me. Though it is a clear message.

Really? "GD" is one step too far? Even if he flat out said "God Damn it!" I still wouldn't find a problem with it. Just because Superman has been stuck with the boyscout image in the past doesn't mean he has to talk like one (that's Captain Marvel's gig anyway). I have more of a problem with how Morrison is still writing Batman rather than Superman, but to refuse to order the book for your store, that's just flat out stupid and would only send people to other shops in the area.

Whilst I agree that he did wonders with All Star Superman, I still think that this new Superman is a bit ... off.

And just as soon as it started, the boycott is already over. I admit, I knew it was just stupid nonsesense taken too far, but anytime the word "boycott" gets thrown around I tend to get angry because its used more by those who don't know when it's the right time to do so.
