That would cost an arm, a leg and a kidney.

Actually, I think you'd still be about a few hundred dollars short.

For 200 bucks you can get a pretty decent tablet. So I'd say go for that instead. BUT, if you already have one *drools" this looks like a pretty cool piece of hardware. Im finding myself with less and less time in front of the computer. So If the dpi and battery life is good, it might be a buy for me.

I'd much prefer the tablet, as Coronel said. Not that it isn't an awesome piece of hardware (or software...I don't know my wares). It would just seem easier to edit with a tablet.

This thing looks pretty darn cool... Might snag one if the price point is good...

Fuck a tablet: http://www.amazon.com/Wacom-DTK2100-21- ... 525&sr=8-1

get one of those bad boys. . .. . . . .Not very cost efficient though :(

as an artist and graphic designer i'd rather have the natural feel of pressure on a pad of paper than a tablet, you just draw way better.

I've had a tablet for years now and wacom has never let me down. I don't think it's a replacement for current tablets but more like an add on. If you draw a lot this is an awesome buy since you can take it anywhere. If you design a lot or like to stick to pure digital pieces, you're fine with a normal tablet.

So this particular pen isn't for everyone.

@Legotoadeto. Im pretty sure that it still counts as a tablet, but with a build in display. While you get a whole lot more accurate with a display tablet, they're super expensive. And they have one major drawback. You cover up half the screen with you hand when using it. One of the most annoying things when drawing with regular pen and paper IMO, that and no undo function.

@Nomad. Definitely. Nothing beats the feel of a real pen and paper. When it comes to drawing Im probably 95% digital, so to me this seems like the perfect "on the go" drawing tablet. I've tried hauling a laptop with a smaller tablet around, but's it always feel alike a huge hassle to set everything up.

In other words, this is good if you want to draw while on your vacation?

and if you're an out doorsy type. I like to draw outside or at a cafe and like what CP said it's a hassle to set shit up. If this can simulate pen pressure better than tablets I'd get two of these.
