Guess i'm the only one here who thinks the hackers are to blame, for the record, i'm not defending any system here, but when bad things happen to someone or something, people are tend to blame all around them cause they cannot catch the force of this problem, they want some sort of justice and quickly choose the ones they think have failed,

The hackers were able to hack because of Sony's shortcomings. If Sony had better security, this shit wouldn't have happened. If they had released a statement telling people what was going on right when they found out they were hacked, then maybe things wouldn't be as bad.

They are a business, a multi billion dollar corporation to be exact. They are responsible for keeping people's passwords safe and they fucked it all up by not having good enough security, and by letting a bunch of loser hackers in.

My Roommate will only use Playstation. I was shocked that she forgave Sony in two days. She is also willing to give them her information again.

I agree Sony fucked up big time but to make the PS3 entirely a bad system because of it, is pretty childish.

You don't have to like the system or play it, but when I watched this video you guys always come off as its fact. I don't know if you noticed, you always say its an opinion through and through and we do not have to agree, however everytime you rag on the PS3 for some reason (games you dont like, price, etc) the way you talk about it sounds that you are trying to state fact and you can not comprehend why anyone likes it. And sometimes it just makes me turn whatever of your stuff I am watching off because really I can not stand a the hate. And I would do the same for the 360 or Wii.

I own every system of this generation aside from a 3DS and I can say all system have their ups and downs. None of them are perfect and all companies have done stupid shit in the past. Sony fucked up. It doesn't make the PS3 any less of a good system but it does make the putting information on the PSN a lot less ideal. However this could have happened to Nintendo or Microsoft as well. If people dont think so then they are delusional. Microsoft and Nintendo are not completely safe from this situation. Though I wonder if this was Microsoft or Nintendo in this situation, would people be this hard on them? Sony fucked up, should of had better security. A lot of companies fuck up. Best they can do is try to move it out of the red as fast as possible. They were really slow in finding out what actually was hacked, but it could have been worse.

I got all systems so I could play the good games on all the systems. I like diversity. I think less of Sony for their fuck-up but I am not going to think any less of the PS3. I am not going to go out and sell my Ps3 because I can't play online for a while or any stupid crap like that. I am gonna still use it and play games that come out on it. I wouldn't sell my Wii or 360 if it happened to it either

1. Most gamers don't have the time and money to invest in both systems, so they choose one or the other

2. Whatever system they choose is mainly based on the exclusives. See, there are things that the 360 can do that the PS3 can't do. Isn't that something?

Now. I have read articles and watched TV shows on this before and i can say for certain that its highly likely your information is ALREADY out there ready to be picked by someone. And you don't even need to hack. Apparently, according to Life Lock, people just need to find the black market sites online for information and just purchase it. They were able to get easily the information of willing people for an experiment in the matter of an hour, just by knowing where to go, without needing to hack. Your information is not as secure as you may think. People don't need the PSN to get your information. Yeah now it sucks its that much easier and Sony was stupid but hell I am not going to blame the PS3 for it all.

This could have happened to any company at any time. People say "some idiot hacker kid." People are more clever than you give them credit for. The internet can teach people to be many things these days.

Sony fucked up here, yes, but it still could have been worse. I am not gong to boycott PS3 for it. Gee Mr. Vanity, I don't recall addressing you or anyone else on this forum specifically in my video. I made this video as a direct response to Handsome Tom and Andy The Move The Game (as stated in the beginning of the video.) I posted it on this thread because it has to do with the video I addressed. The response had everything to do with the "Smoke You Sony!" They try and put the system down entirely because of the "PSN Outage" which is a slippery slope argument. I try to defend the console of my choosing by offering a different opinion and giving credence to my opinion with valid points. You get butt hurt because you saw merit in what I had to say and now you regret shoveling over more money to Microsoft.

I'm not going to spell it out since its all in his video anyway, he lays it out pretty concisely. Also, free Live is pretty limited. Questioning why you have to pay for a service that is free elsewhere is perfectly legit. It's how things get changed. Corporations aren't set in stone, they're all flexible to the demands of the consumer.
