Yeah, that series 6 trailer was really, really good. Promises a lot of good quotes from The Doctor again. I like his awesome quotes. The Eleventh Doctor knows he's brilliant and awesome and he's not afraid to show it xD

EDIT:

God damn that's epic

Sad news indeed. I was hoping that Twitter was pulling my leg about this, but it was true

For once Twitter was right on the money. Damn. I was fortunate enough to discover her work before she passed away. Rest in Peace, Elisabeth. :(

I really hope her series continues on in her absence with Luke and the others. Little kids need some Doctor Who in their lives, and I think sometimes the main series is a little too serious business nowadays for a young kid to enjoy.

I dunno, I think the fifth season is more kid friendly than the ones before. But yeah, I do hope Sarah Jane Adventures goes on. Would be difficult though. Replacing Sarah Jane would be a no-no though. I dunno, maybe Rani and Clyde graduate. Rani could be a reporter, Luke returns as the brains, Clyde is Rani's hubby at work and two new student characters are added.
Still, that's just speculation. There's a big chance that the series will end now. A shame really, fantastic kids show.

Luke could come back and it could just be the 3 kids and K-9 and perhaps they could just try to wrap the series up somehow.

They'd need someone that knows aliens to come in and take over Sarah Jane's legacy as a legal adult. Just Luke, Rani and Clyde would probably not happen. If they're not gonna cancel the new season, then the rumor mill is definitely going go bonanza. I'm expecting to hear: The Doctor, Meta-Crisis Doctor and Rose, Jo and Santiago, Martha even ...

I suppose so, but I could see it being 3 kids and Mr. Smith and K-9 upholding Sarah Jane's legacy. If only to wrap up the series and end it. From what I understand they were mid-season in recording, I don't think it's all in the can yet so I'd imagine they'll do something.

Yah, would be a major monetary loss if they just sit on it.

Okay, I'm super pumped for this season after seeing the first episode.

Spoiler
So, do you think they'll find a way to save the Doctor, and if not, how do you think the series will continue?

Spoiler
Spoilered for everything haha, I seriously want to see how saving the Doctor develops, whether it be next episode in some giant Moffat explosion of greatness, or if this becomes a season arc plotline (which I believe it might) but can't be fully sure yet. What's interesting is that the Doctor that is killed by the "impossible" astronaut mentions he is over 1100 years old, whereas the Doctor we see soon after is only a year older than when he last saw Amy and Rory (around 900 still, not very long obviously) so it's interesting to think he has spent a whole 200 years either without them (but likely encountered River Song multiple times during) or maybe he has in episodes to come, we'll just have to wait and see.

Other big questions I've got are on The Silent (pretty sure that's there name after watching Doctor Who Confidential) and bloody hell are they creepy as FUCK. and we saw them up close too, Moffat didn't hold back on these things, there sci-fi horror at it's best, especially with the memory dynamic of not remembering them once you look away,

Also, Amy's pregnant, something to do with the silent? As we see how they all react after looking away and forgetting, feeling sick, etc.

And I'm loving River's development, her speech too was incredible, especially with her fear that she will eventually meet him when he has never even met her (prophetically, in Silence in The Library!) so it's cool how she obviously doesn't know this but we do! And I loved her admitence of how "the impressionable young girl meets the brilliant, mad man" so it'll be interesting to see her later in the series with her first meeting with the doctor.

Okay, ending my wall of text here before I explode with theories and going overboard with fandom

The Doctor knew what was going to happen all along. If you watch the beginning when Amy says "Do you see that?" and then forgets what she saw, you can see the Doctor just gives her that look. He's definitely got it all sorted out.

I just realized something.

Spoiler
Way back during the time of the Sixth Doctor, wasn't there a villain who might have been the result of the Doctor's 13th regeneration?

Aren't we close to that regeneration now?

Matt Smith's the 11th Doctor, so another while to go until then.

I do believe that guy was a quantum irregularity that would occur during the Doctor's 13th and supposedly final regeneration. So yeah, that'll take a while to get to. Then again continuity always changes. Watch the first episode ever and you'll see some things that are downright non-canon nowadays.
