Regarding the top 5, I would have replaced that Wii bundle with one at Wal-mart where you can get the Red Wii with New Super Mario Bros Wii, Wii Sport Resort and Epic Mickey for $250.

I'm really happy this is back and it's great to see everyone but....shouldn't you do a bit more to justify it not being weekly? This was almost no different to the weekly podcast.

Amazing show! Like the new Game Discussion segment, sure it needs some polishing in my eyes but still a very nice addition to the podcast!

And that pinball place looks amazing. Nice interview too, keep 'em coming!

There are a few things I wonder though... What happened to Classy Finds and 8-Bit News? Sure, most of the news wouldn't be... well, news by the time the podcast is released, but taking a look back at what's happened during a month is always interesting. Maybe add these segments back into the podcast and just have one or two really interesting/funny forums questions instead of 20 minutes of that? (nothing against forum questions, but sometimes there's a bit too much of them imo)

Already lookin forward to the podcast! :-D

It is my life's goal to own the Star Trek: TNG pinball machine. Unfortunately, last I checked they were like $3,250 or so on EBay. Also I don't know ANYTHING about pinball machines so I wouldn't know how to fix or maintain it lol. Maybe one day...

NEVER look at prices based on ebay. They really try to rape you when it comes to pinballs and arcade cabinets.

Take the price and cut by 2/3rd's and that is generally the price you can get them for

This was a trial run for the monthly format and I admit in retrospect that not much has changed. We will definitely work to make the next one much better and more varied and interesting. We're going to try to have a segment like the pinball one in each show. Also I'm seriously considering switching to a 1 question a person limit for forum questions. That segment still dominates the podcast and it surely shouldn't. I'm sure Classy Finds will come back because there is always room for "whoa that's cool" videos. Also, if people want 8 bit news back then I'm sure Joey and Mickey will be ok with talking about some more silly stories.

Just know that the podcast is more important to us now than ever and we're going to do our best to give you guys what you want.

Classyman, even though the podcast is my favorite feature on the site, I think keeping it monthly is the best option, I thought the format was great and changing the different segments around keeps it fresh and a whole month of news/new content is a far better option then having you guys having to work hard every week, keep it monthly, its great so far!

Hmm thanks for the advice. You have kept the dream alive! Maybe I will contact that group featured on the podcast when I'm ready to look for one.

I enjoyed this month's show. I also liked the answers given to my questions. Space Lesbian Shepard is pretty much the only way to go if you're a chick in Mass Effect. Kaiden is like a really boring unfunny version of Alistair from Dragon Age.

I'm glad Joe supports my theory that it's always been this way. People look at the sprite artwork or the chibi stuff, but the Amano artwork has always had effeminate males. People give Vaan a hard time for looking gay, but Cecil's Paladin form, artwork wise, is pretty "ultra-gay" in my opinion.

PS. When your full name is Edward Chris von Muir (or Gilbert Chris von Muir) you're gonna grow up and look a little girly. It's a fact of life.

It was fine to be honest it was a little better then the weekly podcast but not that much different having a month to make it but I dont want to seem like a dick I always enjoy the podcast I liked the pinball guy thing.

Well the pinball segment and the inclusion of a new top five right within the podcast were two new additions that I think made the podcast a lot more varied! I do wish they would bring back 8-Bit News though and just include it in the monthly cast. That was one of my favorite segments! *starts a Mickey chant*

I think instead of 8-Bit News, Mickey (and other cast members) should have a soapbox section of the show whenever something important happens in the industry that they really want to talk about. Sort of like how some news shows will be like "and now here's so & so with his thoughts on such & such" and they let the person go on a rant about society or whatever for 5 or 10 minutes. Kind of like when Craig & Tom had their own special sections of the podcast where they talk about whatever they want, etc. etc.

Agreed. Monthly news just doesn't cut it. Daily hardly cuts it anymore with all of the news sites that fire this stuff out at automatic weapon speed.
