Question time!

Hey guys, how's it going?

First of all congrats to Liz and Tom for the upcoming baby, I hope all goes well. And Tom Achilles is fucking kick ass, you can have Achilles Last Stand by Led Zeppelin blasting through the hospitals speakers the day he/shes born!

Anyway what I wanted to ask was:

1-Was there any game you were excited for but never got the chance to play?

2-What are some obscure games that you feel like you're the only one who ever played it?

3-Videogames, right!?

I recently started to play some Pac-man CE again. I just topped my own score and your still first on my friends list for now . You must of had one hell of a good run to get that score kudos to you.

Do you have a video game buying budget or if any new games come out that you want. You'll buy them all on release date possibly breaking your bank.

Hello, long time watcher, first time poster.

Like to make a shout out to Tom, I have enjoyed your style of video since you were doing reviews with Craig on classic videogames. Now to go back to an old classic, my first question is. Why do you feel that Square hasn't gone back to it's root's and remade the old classic "Chrono Trigger"? In light of recent remade games, I feel this could make some great money if additions were made to an old classic (more maps, more characters, more story, more tech's/weapons, more endings...same game though). Why do you feel Square has yet to capitalize on this...let alone the rest of the classic RPG market? Also, in your opinion, will turnbased RPG's have a comeback on consoles, or is the future of RPG's like we have seen in recent Final Fantasy titles (not counting DS titles that are typically turn based RPG's)?

Congrates on the upcoming Liz and Tom. I have no idea on a name...just don't pick Sam. That name has a thousand things that rhyme or go with it. Go with something like Simon. Now onto a question for Liz. What are your thoughts on the effect of games on children? Do you feel that it strengthens a person's development or inhibits them (I mean generally...not if the parents are purely neglegent)? What kind's of restrictions do you feel a young gamer should or shouldn't have? How are positive qualities emphasized (hand eye coordination, thriving on challenge, etc), and negative qualites reduced (such as lack of social interaction, etc)?

To all of you, do you sincerely feel Starcraft 2 will come out this year...after being pushed back for what...9 years?

I have heard tell of 3d movies and television becoming the new gimmick in light of Avatar's success. What are all your thoughts of that technollogy converting to game's? I'm not sure your age's...but I'm pretty sure you like me are over 25 and have experianced the Virtual boy and other novelties that have died out or have seemingly not lived up to the hype (third party wii games for instance). In lue of this do you feel that 3d will become the same unrealized concept as times before, or will its recent foothold move onto the gaming industry and push the limits?

A side note on that last question for Mickey. I once saw an old anime (uhh....or manga...whatever the difference is) on late night teletoon when that channel was starting out. The name was 'Macross Plus.' The female main character was a singer who used 3d hologram's during a concert to bring the stadium closer to the action. Now this questions a little sci-fi...but do you feel that if 3d comes into it's own that the music industry would be revolutionized in that same manner? Kind of a stupid what if question but...what do you think?

Joe. Your (or somebodies) idea for quick flash game review is genious. In the online niche's of games, nobody that I have heard has enterprised on reviews for flash games. And yet my fiance will spend hours playing that farmlife and whatnot on facebook. Those types of games also transfer over to download content for the Ps3 and 360. Peggle comes to mind. Mindless pick-up and play fun that the g.f and me can play together. Excellent stuff. It's good that I have a reviewer that can give me an insight on what to get, and what to leave. Now here is a question for you. Do you feel that 'purely downloaded games' are going to take over for hard copy games for mainstream consoles? What I mean is, instead of going out and buying a game, you simply download it onto your console. Do you like this idea, why or why not?

So my mum has gone out and now owns every goddam season of every star trek. she already got every movie which I all watched (except for the motion picture, boring) but now I have no choice but to give in to the darkest of temptations and watch the shows, I hoped this would never happen but now my enjoyment of Trek may become more.

Questions.
If you could have your own starship, what would be it's name? and for bonus points what model?

Looking back after a couple of months, what are your thoughts on Mass Effect 2 now, favorite side missions?
Also what did you think of the games giant "terminator"

First of all, to Tom and Liz: I'm dying to know, how did you two find out that you were expecting a baby? What were both of your reactions? Did you find out together or did Liz find out first and then tell Tom?

To everybody else present: If Tom and Liz allowed you to name their baby whatever you wanted, what would you name it? You can come up for names for a boy or a girl.

When my brother and I were younger we would play Sega Master System and later the Genesis all the time together. Some of the best times playing video games I've ever had were playing them with my brother.

My question is, do you think the readiness of online play in today's console are going to take some of those types of experience away from siblings?

To Tom : If memory serves right there was a challenge between Jose and you(or was it thegameheroes vs screwattack, can't quite remember) - i believe Halo 3 was the game.Whatever happened to that challenge ?

My normally iron constitution got wrecked this week by nasty food poisoning that my body forced out every way it could. I also sprained muscles in my arms stomach, and upper back during the ordeal.

My question is: What's the worst case of food poisoning you ever got?
