Watch Ink. Seriously... I can't put this shit into words. It's pretty much the BEST movie I've seen all year. The cinematography was stupendous, the visuals were breathtaking, the plot was engaging and the the <noun> was <adjective>! This movie was so damn good that it actually had me getting teary eyed for the last 30 minutes or so of the movie, and that shit NEVER happens to me when I watch movies.

Think of this movie as an Urban version of Pan's Labyrinth, but with fancy "dream world" people, a battle between Nightmares & Dreams so to speak. In general, it's a very fantastical and charming movie with quite a few nice plot twists and an equally fantastic narrative.

Note: It's available on your Netflix Instant Queue.

I'm surprised by the total lack of discussion and/or people bothering to check this out. :-/

I recognize the trailer, seen before but don't remember where.
Definitely looks interesting, good too hear positive review of it. Maybe I will buy after Christmas, 18.99$ was nice price.

Are you bashing on Ink, or do you just want him to watch it twice?

Look at my avatar and then you tell me.
(Old avatar that is, which was Trick R Treat related, thus killing that witty comment)

I just saw this movie about an hour ago and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. It's every bit as good as Link says.

Seriously, if you haven't watched it yet, do it now. It's definately the kind of movie that has you and your friends discussing it later on. I will be seeing this one another time in the future, because I think you can probably catch some things you didn't the first time around... For instance:

Spoiler
The pauses in the fighting scenes. At first I thought they where just there for show but when we watched some of them again... The fight scenes totally fit in with the "1-2-3-pause"-beat of the universe. That's dedication.
