Issue 600 here is already. Did YIBR return to it's original numbering? Who knows. What we do know is that 2009 was the year of the 600th issue. We discuss Spider-Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, and even Archie. We also throw in Daredevil 500 for good measure, and then things get a little crazy...

A new comicbook reader eh? Sounds good, think I will mention this to some friends who are working on a digital comic.

Is Iron man close to it's 600 issue?

Haha, ye old future ending.
XD

hm lets see:

Invincible Iron Man #1 -16 (May 2008 - present)

All together that means Iron Man has 485 issues all together. So he's pretty close to Daredevil.

Well, if we are cheating like everyone else...you should also include Astonishing Tales where Iron Man made his debut....or was it Tales of Suspense?

If Iron Man cheats like everyone else and you count

Tales of Suspense #39-99 (March 1963 - March 1968)

Then he's at 545, even with cheating he can't make 600.

People apparently don't care about milestone issues. Either that or they're all old news and nobody cares. :D

^Your "future" definitly had me rolling XD .

As for the episode itself.
I must be the only cat 'round here cares about Thor. The whole thing with him getting booted from Asgard actually had me pretty interested and I thought it was a fun read in general.
I'm with Link on Spider-Man 600 being fuckin' awesome. I mean, the new look for Dr. Octopus definitly put me off at first and I'm still not a fan of it (it's a cool looking design overall...I just don't like that that's Doc Ock right now) but that aside I loved the story.

While I'm on about Spidey. You guys think it's sucked since 600? Really? None of you like the Chameleon story happening right now? Man, I'm loving it personally. And the fact that Mary Jane remembers that Peter is Spider-Man? Didn't catch any of yer attention? Man, we're on different wave lengths as far all this goes I guess *shrug*.

As for Hulk 600...eh. Kind of on the fence. I like Red Hulk, I'm into Hulk in general and the action was cool but the story (aside from the climax with Banner losing his Hulk side) was kind of...well, I can't even really remember much of what it was all about, so there you go. But I guess something like Hulk really is more about action than story, so maybe that makes it okay? I don't know, whatever. Hulk was Hulk, not much else to say.

Now, DareDevil. I wasn't following his book up until now, but after 500 I've definitly been sucked in. That was just an awesome book, period. I don't know why I havn't been following him. I like the character and everything...oh well, I guess I've just got some back tracking to do, that's all :-) .

I read Daredevil from Lady Bullseye up to this point and it was totally awesome. :D

I'm glad someone is backing me up on Spidey though. I thought it was a good story overall, and just a fun ride in general.

To clarify on my view points of Spider-Man lately, I like the Mary Jane stuff. I do. I think that the Doc Ock/Chameleon stuff has been kinda weak though. I don't think I brought this up on the show, maybe I did, but I know I talked to Beeslo/Link about this. I'm just sick of Peter getting shit on. In all seriousness, it's insane. There are so many characters that everyone knows their identity and it doesn't mean jack shit. It doesn't ruin their lives, nobody tries to kill their family members every 2 seconds, life goes on, but somehow only Peter Parker is affected by this bullshit. I really liked when he finally unveiled himself during Civil War. I thought this would be the end of all that, but then of course they had to go fucking do One More Day and fuck that all up.

That being said, I didn't dislike AMS 600. I thought it was pretty good, but I was expecting more. The Chameleon stuff just bothered me because of what I was just talking about. Now everyone's gonna be mad at Peter like Flash and shit and it's going to just be a fucking mess for no reason other than Marvel likes Peter's life to suck balls.

If enough people buy it, and then keep coming back I can see this going really far. As for myself I have yet to buy one single comic with it. Im still going through the free stuff and can't say at this point if I'll purchase any of their content. Im more likely to buy the real comic if theres something that strikes my interest. Although some of their stuff I believe is iPhone exclusive. I could be wrong.

Well as far as publishers go, yeah, it looks to be iPhone exclusive, hence why Marvel/DC aren't a part of this. Chances are, both those companies will develop their own app, but if it works like this, that's okay.

As far as comics I have read on this app and will most likely buy the next issues, I have thoroughly enjoyed both Guerillas and The Stuff of Legend.
