What are some of your favorite restaurants to eat at?

My absolute favorite chain is easily Red Lobster. Their biscuits and cheese sticks are heavenly.

Those Red Lobster biscuits are fucking amazing. I will give you that.

As far as my fav chain place like that goes, I like Chili's and Fridays. I also really like Buffalo Wild Wings.

There used to be one in my street but then the place got bought up and closed so they could focus more on the wine selling aspect. Damned shame.

Red Robin's chicken and honey mustard are wonderful.

There's this one restaurant here that's ridiculously good, but sort of expensive (and out of the way for myself) called Manzana. It's owned by the company that owns Stanfords, Newport Bay, and McCormicks. Anyway, all the food is excellently prepared on an applewood grill. And it's delicious.

I also really like the McMenamins, but each incarnation seems to do something poorly. Like, a lot of them have terrible service, for example, and some are just overpriced, and some don't make the food right. It's a real bleh situation.

There's some other local places, like Montage, which is good (and open until 4AM), and Henry's. Azteca is very good as well.

As for big chains, most of them here are franchised out and are just shit. They never make food well, they always fuck something up and they cost an arm and a leg.

Nothing original here, i'd say McDonalds, even though i rarely eat there anymore...Sure the food tastes amazing, but its pure garbage, it's only good once in a while. But i loved going there when i was a kid, hell Mcdonalds was the shit in the 80's and early 90's. i loved those whacky zany super crazy colorful commercials with the talking nuggets, grimmis and so on, the awesome toys they used to have, the cool and fun Happy meals and wicked play rooms. Now Mcdonalds is boring, they ditched everything creative and fun.

Any Thai food place. All the women are shorter than me, and they make a mean Sweet & Sour Chicken sauce.

- Mad Mex, specifically the one in Oakland/Pittsburgh, PA. Best fuckin' wings and burritos anywhere I have never had a wing or burrito that is better. Wash it all down with a Big Ass Margarita and you've had a good meal and will walk out with a good buzz.

There's a ton of great places to eat in Pittsburgh actually; Fuel & Fuddle, Lulu's, Spice Island Tea House, India Garden, The "O" (for forties and greasy gravy fries after a long night of drinking).

Wow, I'm gonna sound pretentious now. . .

1. Il Mulino (West village) - This place is really amazing, but you need to know their "secret phone number" to make a reservation, because they don't answer the normal phone)

2. Prime - This restaurant in Huntington is incredible. Best lobster I ever had in my life. Can't wait to go back.

3. Gotham Bar & Grill

4. Del Frisco

5. Aureole (Upper East side)

6. Sushi Yasuda

If only these places weren't so expensive. . .

I don't think they have that particular franchise in the United States, but the concept is easy. All you can eat sushi. It's called Kanda.

Basically you can eat all the sushies you want, you have some appetizers and entries for free and you get a very wide selections of sushies and makis. It's not that expensive and the place is really charming, quite a warm atmosphere. The staff is kind, the service is quick, they do not judge you if you eat a ton of sushies.

Going there with a good number of friend can become a real competition, rather than a simple eating experience. Being the one to eat the most sushies is always fun, especially when you eat three times more than some people around the table.

Basically any restraunt on a shopping street I live 5 minutes from, mainly the Japanese and Vietnamese ones. Love it everytime I go there. Also in Preston there is another great Vietnamese one as well as an amazing Yam Cha restraunt! Oh and the pizza cafe place 5 minutes walk from house on another street.
I live right near all these amazing restraunts! :-D
