Sorry guys. Issue 30 is going to be delayed. I thought I had more time to do some editing this morning than I actually did. :-/ I'll try and get it posted Sunday night.

I have a perfectly legitimate reason though. My cat and I got in a huge fight and he stormed out the door, stole the car, and then he got into a wreck with a doberman pincher. I'm heading to the ER now to make sure he's alright.

The above story is entirely fictional, yet you should believe that my cat can drive a car anyway.

Robots are a magical subject. You can talk about robots for about 3 days straight if you want to. Also, nice to hear you're trying to get more anime stuff in.

PG??? That's some fucking dickless bullshit!

So Marvel ended all Avenger titles to create one big one? Makes a little more sense I guess...

Aren't Mechas just power armors and walking vehicles? Image

Kick-Ass, it's on my buy-list. Question is, should I read before or after the movie?

We make more money on PG episodes. So... yeah, we're sellouts. We need money for our comic addiction.

Maybe...maybe over there?
Do I need to see the optomotrist?
There's no image is what I'm getting at  .

Robots are neat, only problem is the only anime ones I have any familiarity with are the "jinzoningen" (artificial humans, which isn't really any better a term for them than Funimation calling them androids since as stated in the episode, 17 and 18 both used to be humans, so they aren't androids nor are they "artificial" *pushes up nerdy glasses*) from DBZ and Arale from Dr. Slump.

Unless ya count mechs and shit, like Zoids. Though I'm not really familiar with them too much either except that I used to have a couple of them.

I'm not really not liking it, but I am a little dissapointed to hear that Frankencastle is gonna last for a while, I was kinda hoping it'd be just this storyline or maybe one more and then go back to him being all humany somehow. Oh well, I'll deal for now. Like I said, I still like it, I just hope it doesn't over stay it's welcome.

Oh that one (and I just noticed it was linked on the homepage).

I didn't take that as an ad for the future Avengers lineup. I thought it was just a general Marvel ad for them entering their "Heroic Age" and just had folks on there representing their properties (Gorilla Man for ATLAS, Thing for F4, etc, etc).
Could be wrong though.

R2D2 is the best robot of all time...
...In the Star Wars universe. Why? Because he saves the galaxy a bunch of times by saving the people saving the galaxy. That and he's the bucket shaped version of Inspector Gadget.

If you regard Mechs as robots, would that constitute Iron Man as a robot? Cuz both are just mechanical armors in different sizes.

Really stoked about about Kick-Ass. Both the movie and the comics (Haven't read it yet since Im waiting for the first volume.).

Yeah, I think we weren't thinking of the definition for robots in the other sense. A lot of what we talked about involved giant robots that had to be controlled by a human pilot.

For the record, I talked about the androids in Big O... :-D

But it's an interesting point of conversation, do mechs = robots?

I think Evas and Big O are safe from this discussion sense they also had cognitive action whereas Gundams just sit there without anything piloting them.

Seriously Beeslo, I could've talked about them forever. I've watched Big O way too many times.

Also, I want to say that Beck's awesome "Asian" robot that parodies Voltron was HILARIOUS and really helped the Big O series' sense of humor shine.

Escaflowne definitely had one of my favorite robots in it. Hell the damn think is powered with the heart of a dragon that he cut out! I've never really been one for giant robot/mech anime's though, not even Evangelion (although I do remember liking Rah Xephon), but Escaflowne was pretty badass. Full Metal Panic is another mech anime I liked, but to be fair the mechs weren't really center stage.

Is it just me or does the Heroic Age banner pic look a little half assed? Some of the character designs look a bit off (Thor and Black Widow being the most obvious) and the background is bland as shit. I'm not trying to knock Marvel or anything but you'd think they'd have used a better pic than something that looks like the start of an old Powerpoint presentation... But if Clint Barton is back as Hawkeye I'm happy.
