Dukey, being from Canada did you have to pay a customs charge and if so how much ?

I am from Ontario and the one thing holding me back is the brokerage fee that fedex / UPS charges on top of the product price that can generally make its way up to being upwards of 60% of the products total price. I'd like to avoid that if possible.
