I don't care if I win. I was just pissed that people were bashing my sig over dumb reasons such as it not being apparent to the game (which it was), or my work being cheapened over the fact that it was a png and that some just assumed I threw layers and layers over. Quit putting words in my mouth.

i am really confused on where this conversation headed.

I think everybody's showing their noblity by revealing that they didnt enter to win, just to have fun.
I, myself just enter to get experience, i've noticed that my sig making improves with every one i make

what i like about this competition is that everyone incorporated their own styles...not one sig looks the same in the slightest... and i love to see how i stand compared to you guys...and i guess i still have a ways to go

thanks for the clarification snake. i agree the more i make the better i get at it, i just wish more people requested sigs then i could get more practice.

When I rate a signature, I always look for the amount of work that went into it. That tells me a few things:

For one, dedication and passion
For two, skill

If I cannot really tell how much work went into a signature, I am only make an uninformed guess-timate and leave it at that. Regardless of how much work went into yours, I have my own set of criteria in which I rate and you should respect that. Thus, if you think it's a dumb reason, that is fine, you are entitled to your opinion. I hope you don't take it personally then when I say that what you wrote was a rather dumb post.

P.S. No one that I can see was bashing your sig. I merely stated why I gave the nod to another signature over yours. If your skin is this thin, perhaps next time I will put my reasoning in a spoiler box; which you can avoid, in an effort to spare your feelings.

I will admit that I do have pretty thin skin when it comes down to it. It really just hurts me to an extent to hear things about it that I don't find necessarily constructive. I put alot of effort and pride into making that sig.

I'm the kind of person that acts under emotions, so my past actions weren't very though out or mature. Sorry if I hurt you or anyone else in any way. I guess the community can add this thread to my ongoing bad reputation. Next time I enter a SOTW, just keep up with what you have been doing. Don't spare my feelings at all. I pretty much created this entire mess by taking things a little too seriously.

OK well that beef seems to be squashed. Last thing I would like to say is that I do like your sig very much Furia, and as far as finished products go, yours is one of the best, if not the best.
