I agree with the too many stickies faction. It is not necessary, if the topics are popular people will post enough to keep them up front. THat is all.

It's a hot topic game that everyone is going to be discussing if they own a PS3. Basically, anytime a new game has a major release, it'll have a sticky thread for a month or so.

Fair enough.

Then again if the game is so hot and everybody talks about it then the topic will stay up no matter what right? And besides, even if it falls, is it so hard to turn to the next page of threads?

It's stickied because people are too dumb/lazy to look for something, and it also helps avoid multiple topics being made by said dumb/lazy people.
