I have to admit Will Smith is a pretty good actor.

Of course he is, have you seen The Pursuit of Happyness? Fantastic performance.

The Dark Knight on IMAX 10/10

My one question is whats with all the Maggie G. hate??? I thought she was wonderful and better than Katie Holmes and all her wooden acting. She actually gave spirit to the role (WARNING: BIG SPOILER)

which made it all the more traumatic when she died

It was good, the animation was good on most of the shorts. The stories were..okay. I recommend it for hard core Batman fans, but if you're a hardcore Batman fan, you probably picked this up already.

7/10

Hard Candy

I ended up watching this again on accident. I just threw it on while cleaning the house and got caught up and watched the whole thing. Ellen Paige is amazing in this. Oh and the guy that plays Nite Owl in Watchmen was really good too.

10/10

The whole military theme was kind of fun and there were enough laughs to keep me satisfied. Plus, I like Owen Wilson's humor.

7/10

AvP: Requiem.

Somebody told me this sequel was loads better than the 1st. Which is like saying your second broken leg hurts less then your first one.

4/10

Scarface (1932) - 8.5/10 .... whoa for a film from the 30's this is a seriously gutsy gangster film. Paul Muni is just terrific as 'scarface' and there are tons of great shootouts and characters in this film. I like it as much as the De Palma/Pacino remake.

Stepbrothers - 8/10 ... best Ferrell movie since Anchorman by far. Will and John C Reilly make a hilarious duo and there are tons of awesomely hilarious supporting characters especially one distraught wife.

Predator - 7/10 ... classic Arnold, classic action movie, just good ol fashioned fun.

Live Free or Die Hard

Wasn't the whole cyber-terrorism thing did to death already?

I thought it was going to be in the same kick-ass vein as the other DHs. Nope. According to IMDB, the movie was softened from an R rated move to a PG-13 flick. Apparently this was done to have more commercial success and cater to younger viewers.

Btw, seeing Gears of War was kind of cool... yet just another was to steal my 14 year old brothers heart.

Besides the hot Asian chick, Kevin smith (with the star wars-ness) and some of the action scenes, this movie was a total letdown.

I had a wild "WTF? moment" at the ending credits. I thought the bad guy was Casper Van Deen from Starship Troopers, not the Hitman guy. Doh!

Seeing that this is a Die Hard movie. The only explosions that were missed were those of the F-bombs (swearing doesn't make the movie, but in the DH movies its expected).

6/10 bleh...

the unrated dvd of live free or die hard is 10x better then the theatrical pg 13 one, never, ever - even if your life depends on it watch the lame ass pg 13 cut of that movie.

Death Proof:

I didn't like this at first but I think that was due to the marathon that is Grindhouse and having to sit through this after the the entertaining Planet Terror was a chore. Now that I watch it again, I love it. Fantastic movie with great Tarantino dialogue. Girls are hot.

8.5/10

Dark Knight:

Saw it a second time. Still stunning.

10/10

Breaking my legs means I can sue you and live happily ever after in my home, now I dont have a dog, but you can do it to our neighbors dog, its annoying.

Two different threads for this!!!!

6/10 for the Dark Knight

Joker gave it an extra 4 points. >_<

I was unaware there was an unrated version. Thanks a bunch.

Robocop

What can I say this was one of the best action movies of the 80's. I believe it slightly edges out some of Schwarzenegger's best.

Can you believe that the director likened Robo to Jesus? Here's a direct quote from IMDb; "Verhoeven (the director) has stated that he sees the character as a futuristic version of Christ". I don't know about that, but this is action at its finest.

9/10

You know there's an unrated version of Robocop as well, right? Mucho violence in it. Which is tough to say because the rated version is pretty violent itself.

The Dark Knight - 10/10.
