Clerks II 3/10 I spent the entire movie waiting for it to get funny and it never did.

About to go watch The Happening will rate it later! ;)

BTW - Gods Must Be Crazy 1 & 2 - 8?? Anyone else??

You know, you almost lost me giving The Love Guru an 8?!?! But you redeemed yourself by mentioning The Gods Must Be Crazy...you are forgiven. ;-)

Beeslo - I am just glad that I have received your blessings on this one! :) It feels sooo good to be forgiven! Thank you! :) (lol)

Now to my latest movie: The Flight of The Navigator!!! - Well, some of you might not agree with me, but I'll rate this one a 9/10 cus I remember watching this movie when it first came out, and I must say it was AMAZING! :) I know, I know... Perhaps that for today standards it might not be the best movie out there, but back in 1986 it was the bomb!! If you have not seen it do it cus I am pretty sure you are going to like it!!! Not bad Disney, not bad at all!! :)

My God....you are absolved from all future digressions for even mentioning this masterpiece. The only mistake you made was giving it a 9...what the fuck? This movie goes to an 11!!!

:-D This whole thing just cracks me up!!! The movie is BEAUTIFUL!!! Yes! When I was a kid I wish that I could be a Navigator or have a weird looking alien that likes chocolate as a pet!!! As Master Chief would say, "lolololololololololololol"

And you are right sir! Back in the days Disney had some great movies, but I think they have lost a little bit of their touch in the past few years! Fine, for every single masterpiece that goes into the vault we shall give it a bonus... The new rate will be 11!!! So it has been DONE!! :support:

Dang it! I hate being sick on the weekends cus all I do is watch movies...

So I just finish watching Disturbia and I would rate it a 8/10 one because Trinity is Hot, and the little girlfriend wasn't bad looking eather...
Image

So that is it! And since we were talking about old classics I guess the least I could do is watch my next flix which will be.... ahahaha!!! Lets see if someone remembers this awesome movie too...

C ya guys in 3hrs!! x_x

Angels With Dirty Faces (1938) - Awesome gangster drama starring two of the all time greats James Cagney and Humphrey Bogart (more of a supporting role for him). This film is filled with great dialogue, a really great plot, and a definite look at some serious moral issues that are still relevant today.

I give it a 8.5/10

The Ruins (Spoilers below)
The movie was somewhat refreshing and different...And there were some slightly disturbing scenes, like when the plants drag the ripped off legs away and the creepy screaming Flowers. freaky stuff...Actually those red flowers are the creepiest thing about the movie...I mean ya there's some gross stuff involving a guys legs being smashed and cut off, or the vines being cut out of that one girls skin, but those flowers man, yikes. But ya, there's no explination about the plants/flowers and ruins and why they are alive and so on.

Overall, it was good, but not great, but definitly much better than alot of the crap thats been released. Damnit, i still need to see INSIDE.

7.5/10

Watched Batman: Gotham Knight

Wow, it was awesome! Reminded me why I enjoyed the Animatrix so much.

9/10

Now that I had my Batman marathon (of the good movies... no Batman Forever or Batman & Robin garbage) I'm ready for the Dark Knight tonight!

I know! Sorry, I forgot to mention Kevin Conroy... It's a really slow day at the office and my mind starts to wonder...

I now need to get the entire 90s animated series on DVD. I have the first 2-3 seasons on my computer but I want the actual DVDs... too bad they're so freakin expensive!

Just saw the Dark Knight about an hour ago. 10/10 I was simply speechless. That movie was incredible! I can't wait for the next one. Heath Ledger as the Joker=Genius. It's so terrible that he died

The Dark Knight- 9/10 Great movie, but had a couple little flaws.
Spoiler
First of all, this is a comic book movie. Like the first one, there are a couple of moments that just defy all logic. (e.g. Bruce Wayne’s Lamborghini is crushed between a semi and an armored van, yet he gets out completely unscathed) I didn’t really mind them too much, but in a movie of this stature they are really noticeable.

Jesus Christ, Maggie Gyllenhaal was horrible. I liked her in other movies she’s been in, but my friends and I all agreed that she really brought this movie down. It’s a shame, as I was hoping she’d be a lot better than Katie Holmes.

Also, Scarecrow, who almost destroyed Gotham in the first movie, is brought down to a petty criminal who deals drugs for literally 3 minutes in the begging. Come on, I love Scarecrow! If your going to show him, at least give him a little more dignity.

Other than those, great movie!

Just came back from The Dark Knight, it actually exceeded my expectations and I was only hoping it would be the best comic book film ever so that's pretty good. My only minor complaints is that I was actually missing Katie Holmes after watching Maggie Gyllenhaal for a while and it ends which is a bummer because no movie this great should ever finish. 10/10 for sure though, Bale, Ledger, Oldman, and Eckhart all lit up the screen.
