I'm not trying to troll, or start a discussion about this but I really hate the 360 controller for various reasons, but there are a couple of 360 games I think I want to play... but not with that controller. So I was wondering if any of you knew of some contraption that will allow me to use Dualshock 3's on a 360 wirelessly.

I know they operate on completely different frequencies so I realize I can't just pair them and be done with it, but I wondered if any of you knew of a device that I can maybe plug into a 360 or that wirelessly converts the signals?

Thanks!

And once more, I'm really not looking for a flamewar, please don't make this thread about the relative merits of the different controllers. That is NOT why I'm posting this :)

I think the 360 controller is pretty decent to be honest. Although I have no clue about a device that would let you do it, and I'm sure if there was one there'd be some crazy lawsuit fiasco about it.

As far as I know, Microsoft is the only one that doesn't have a controller adapter for their console, so good luck

Stop being lazy and just build your own, you know nobody is going to have one for sale. Just build the custom board mod you saw (though I'm not sure if sacrificing a DS3 is worth it) ... or rip apart a 360 pad and use a super cheap wired 3rd party PS3 pad as a shell. Or build a sophisticated module that plugs into the 360 and snags the PS3 signals and transfers them to non-wireless 360 controller signals. (I think the last one is the best option, doesn't require a shit load of money or the destruction of gamepads)

NOTE TO EVERYONE ELSE: I know for a fact that TMM is extremely competent in the field of electrical engineering, so don't get your panties in a twist thinking shit like, "You think everyone can always do complicated things like this themselves" or other garbage.

Well with this you might be able to hook up a wireless Dualshock 2 controller. If you're willing to spend the big bucks. But keep in mind there's no guarantee that a wireless version of DS2 would work. Otherwise if you're more comfortable playing with keyboard and mouse it supports that as well.

Yeah, I'm going to go for that! Thanks for the suggestion. Getting a XFS360 (don't need the sniper one) and a SEGA Surfwave PS2 controller (which is reportedly very, very good)

Awesome :)

Dead rising, here I come :)

I've used one of those SEGA surfwaves before, they are pretty sweet. Much better than the standard PS2 pad. Though I you could always see if there are any good third party 360 pads that might suite your hands with out having to spend a ton of money on the SEGA pad and XFS360(The SEGA one might be hard to find also).
