Most updates usually piss me off. But, back in the day I enjoyed the shitty old "tab" system they had, and now I like the new one. So... whatevs.

They get rid of the rounded edges and stacking effects

'eh, it's not bad, a little weird though. I miss the "stacking effect" where it was at an angle.

well so far Ive liked the design but its noticeably slower than the previous dashboard was, especially in browsing friend lists, also when its downloading certain updates it can freeze and require the system to restart to fix the problem

but what pisses me off most is this update is practically USELESS to Australians, because we dont Netflix or ESPN, WHICH IS WISH WE DID, I actually follow American sports and so do a lot of my mates so ESPN here would actually be brilliant. But there is no Netflix support here and without either of those two new features incorporated the only point to this update was Kinect support, which shits me how Australia is getting screwed over in support, and while Canada is right next to America its unlikely there going to bring it to us anytime soon

Does anyone know what the orange banner with a number in it in our profiles mean?

Still messing around with it but I'm finding some things to work much nicer but other futures seem to have been moved, buried or deleted altogether.

i believe that number means how many years you have been an xbox live member

I think that must be what it is then. Mine is a 3 and I've been a gold member for 3 years. I've looked around and I can't find any other explanation.

I really hate it, and I normally skate the line of fanboy. It looks like a visual downgrade. Everything is all white, bright, and happy for the kiddies and the families that just bought Kinect and didn't give a damn about 360 for years. The menus now look like cheap cell phone menus. I miss the way that the original Xbox looked before Microsoft decided to be bright and cheery. This just sucks.
