It's okay.

My biggest complaint is how everything got dumbed the fuck down. I'm pissed that I can't really select any expressions, and it's all randomized. The Demon Door I'm trying to do shit in front of is NOT impressed.

Dumbed the fuck down is pretty much Fable III in a nutshell.

Also fuck the ending. All I'm saying is that if you want the 'Good' ending start saving up an absolute fortune, like 8.5 million gold, before the end of the game.

This sucks. Fable 2 and 3 are okay games but aren't nearly as good as the first Fable. Fable 1 was an amazing game with a lot of originality and promise but they just kept taking steps backwards. For me, Fable 1 had a way more engaging story, deeper content, was more cooler to watch as your character changed his appearance based on the player's actions and was a better looking game overall.

So should I not spend my $20 gaming coupon from K-Mart on this?

I love how Sims 3 was released for consoles on the same day as Fable 3 and so far I have not heard anyone talk about it or review it...

Well IGN have said positive things about Sims 3 on consoles, but the console versions have never been nearly close to matching the popularity and accessibility of the PC version

On a side note, as much as I was looking forward to Fable III, think I'll wait a few months for price to drop like with Fable II, the prices here in Australia are brutal, and theres no real legitimate reason for higher prices than retailers been pricks, at least independent retailers are popular here in Melbourne

Wait to buy Fable 3.

Also, Sims 3, from everything I hear, is pretty amazing. Fiancee got it the same day as Fable, so she'll probably be playing that later today. Curious to hear what she has to say about it.

Good, I largely want that to entice her into deeper games.

Working her into Fallout: New Vegas. Slowly but surely.

Urgh...People hate me, everything's simplified a hell of a lot and I have miles to go to save up to contribute towards the best possible ending outcome...

...But it's still awesome. Especially Reaver. I love him so much and his bedroom full of condoms...:S

Not an amazing game, but if you loved Fable II, it's good...But it *is* like Fable II Lite...

I've had a fiancee for 2 years, but thanks for the congrats! :D

Anyways, yeah, we sat around in front of a demon door for 15 - 20 minutes trying to get the "Kiss" expression to come up, and then we just got married in front of the door and it STILL didn't open and FINALLY we could Kiss after all that bullshit. The expression system is retarded, every villager I meet I basically do a big dance routine with prior to ANYTHING else that would make sense, like chatting or shaking hands or whatever.

Also, the item behind that Demon Door is a Shotgun that pretty much requires you to be fat and good at some mini-game and something else. It's not worth all the hassle.

We didn't even get a chance to play it last night as I got home from work rather late... again... work pisses me off and I had such a shitty day and was looking forward to playing the game.

I'm trying to get the military outfit, which means I need to have 1 fully upgraded legendary weapon AND a fully upgraded hero weapon. I guess I'll be looking around for hallow men.

Also, this game is way to easy. And the ending sucks. Still it has some great moments.

Snagged it yesterday and got a half hour or so of play.

Already crushing Link in the 'most distance walked while holding hands' and 'money donated' categories.

Yeah.

Crushing.

Link.

I might skip out on this. I felt Fable 3 is being rushed a bit, since Fable 2 hasn't even been out that long yet. I love Fable 1 alot, yet got bored after a few hours with Fable 2. My Fable 2 has been sitting on my shelf for almost a year and has never been played.

BTW. I hated how you could actually name your player in Fable 1 but in 2 you couldn't. Can you name your player in 3?

No.

Also, Fable 2 has been out for like 2 years. Between Fable 1 & Fable 2 was 4 years, and even then a year or more after Fable came out they came out with Lost Chapters so it's been pretty much a new fable game every 2 years.

I had a feeling that this game was going to be fail. It seemed rushed, and, as usual, Lionshead was making outlandish promises. But, since I'm waiting for this game to be $20 to even bother with it, I have to ask the owners this question: did they actually implement the weapon system that they promised? They were talking about having a weapon system where your weapon would alter depending on your status, type of attacks used, gamerscore, etc. I thought it was the craziest claim ever, so I'm wondering if they came through with it.

Well in any case I'll buy it anyway.
