Bringing this back. I had to put all my crap on one shelf for the time being, and my buddy had asked how the collection was doing. Here it is in current, pre-mancave form.

There's another shelf down low you can't see, it has some various PSP, GBA and Mortal Kombat controllers and whatnot. Most of those columns are two deep.

If you look to the right, you can see Zombies!, Catan and the WoW board game...all excellent.

Just beneath FFIII is Chrono Trigger in the box.

Those three games survived armageddon twice. Two times I sold off my game collection, both times I kept those three games...just in case.

And yeah, they fit on that shelf, but it's tight. That middle shelf is starting to buckle under the weight.

I have all the systems/boxes in another area. I'm working on a mancave, once it's up and running I'm taking new shots.

It really seems like when people sold off their SNES stuff it was almost like a mass exodus situation in video games. It's pretty ubiquitously regretted. (Was Final Fantasy 7 really worth it? No.) I don't think there's ever quite been such a consistently done thing in any generation. Everyone just sold off all these amazing SNES games at the same time.

I'm glad you had the sense to keep some of them.
