Dubstep.... Really?

Not the first thing I would think of. It just doesn't seem like it fits the tone of the game, they could have picked a much better song in my opinion. This got me thinking though, what the hell would be a good song for Borderlands 2. The first game had "Aint No Rest For the Wicked" which worked perfectly. Anyways I found a song that I think for some reason would fit perfectly as an intro song or a song for the trailer. Please tell me I'm not alone on this. Can anyone else see this song being perfect for this game?



I think it perfectly captures the quirkiness of the game and that twangy guitar fits perfectly within the Borderlands universe. Also the lyrics "I want money" also goes well with the theme of the game, which is collecting loot.

No offense...but I'd rather stick with the dubstep over that. Besides, I think they were just trying to be funny with their choice of music.

Eh, the Flying Lizzards song is just a little too comedic and under the bridge I think. That, and because that song reminds me of The Wedding Singer. The song they picked for Borderlands 2 was suppose to be full of amp as well as poking humor at it's self. Honestly, the song can actually be really good without the razor dubstep in between the guitar rifts.

I do like the Western Futuristic Shooter vibe the songs gave off in the original game. Thanks to DJ Champion and what not. Oh well, we'll just have to see if wubstep is more in their taste now.

Wait, we're complaining about the music in a game trailer? How about the fact I got wood watching that trailer? Or how about the fact the game comes out around my 30th bday... I'd rather complain about the wait for Borderlands 2 than the music in the trailer.

Having just the other day finished Borderlands 1 and now having just watched that trailer...I'm excited...and I think the music was fine. Don't hate just because dubstep is the in thing now...that's no way to live. Something else will be along soon enough.

Well between this and the Uncharted 3 trailer I'm afraid every other game trailer is going to start dub stepping it now

Even if the game's theme song ends up being wubstep, it would be unfortunate but nothing I'm going to bitch about. I just don't want the wubs getting into the rest of the games music. Still, if it does I can just turn it off and listen to Red Fang or Mastodon or something instead.
