I don't really see it as comedic. It just seemed bitter when I watched it. Bitter and a little confusing.

Except for, you know, the singing at the end, the cameos, the use of comedic music and clips, and so on. It's not like she went on camera and just bitched for about twenty minutes.

Well, ok, that's true, but it still had a sort of mean-spirited feeling that was trying to be sweetened up.

That was the point of her character; to balance out the overly optimistic characters who are fangirling over the film. Like Dark said, she's making fun of her overly pessimistic character while poking fun at the extreme optimistic side of the others.

Also, James and Doug do that in quite a bit of their videos too. They take a single part or sequence of a game/film and purposely act cynical and overreact to the situation for a comedic effect. I'm sure she was merely playing a character in a sketch, rather than expressing her actual opinions on the film.

I'm aware that other reviewers do that sort of effect. I've seen my fair share of cynical overreactions with those reviewers, but the way that she presented it just irked me. I can't really explain it. That's just how I felt as I was watching it. The humor was alright, but I still couldn't get over it.

Get over the style of her video or her bashing? If it's her bashing, her review should be seen as entertainment. There's a line between being informative and entertaining. Albeit her review had some good points, it was mostly for the sake of comedy. Admittedly, it's one of my favorite movies, and I enjoyed the video as entertainment. But then again, maybe the problems you had weren't things that bothered me. But to each his own.

It was just her presentation and the subject.

But like you said, to each their own.

Games re-branded as "Greatest Hits" "Best Seller" "Player's Choice" etc.

It leads to atrocities like this:

To be clear ... this is what Heavy Rain looked like when it launched:

That appendix of information at the top that cuts off the picture exists even though they shrank the cover art. Freaking ridiculous!

Did the original version of the game feature PS Move?

There were two versions of the game, the original at launch and then when the move came out it was re-released with move support.

There's an update for Heavy Rain that enables move support. So, it's not like pulling a Capcom where if you didn't buy the one that explicitly said "Move Enabled" you wouldn't get the feature.

My point was, there's four brandings (Playstation 3, Move, Greatest Hits, and Playstation Exclusive) and a feature set all on the front cover at the top. (The move feature set, just to note, should be on the back with the rest of the feature list)

It's a bit excessive.

I didn't mind these sorts of re-brandings back when it was subtle. They're treating Greatest Hits as a more important branding than pretty much anything else on the packaging ... like ... the game. Uncharted 2 is another example where GAME OF THE YEAR is actually larger than the title for the game.

Obviously, I'm not buying the crap that looks like this, but in general, it's really annoying. There's a better way to re-invigorate your game sales while dropping the price and showing that other people have enjoyed it without making the packaging look like stock car from NASCAR.

It's not comparable :p
If I was talking about game updates and ports, it'd be a different story.

(Also a solid :\ The majority of changes are good ... but some are atrocious)

I log into twitter one day and all the sudden I'm flooded with tweets about CM Punk. Like I had to press the "more" button about 5 times before I could read anything that wasn't CM punk related. Why is this guy so popular?

And FYI WRESTLING'S FAKE! All of these cookie cutter wrestlers suck. I miss the ones from the 80s and 90s like Ultimate Warrior.

The guy rewrote the book on being a bastard.

"Let's face it the only reason people are talking about the WWE is because of two things: #1 Whenever I say anything or #2 because someone died."

I don't even watch wrestling and that line was awesome.

So, I get to go through people's old video games all day and pick out cherries and make offers... I fucking hate it when people don't take care of their video games. Seriously, how the fuck do these things get so beat up? Game systems I can understand they get a few dings every now and again, but the games? You really have to work at it to make some of the dings I've seen. For example: we got Shenmue II on the Dreamcast (the Japanese import) and one of the discs had scratches so deep I could stand up and index card in it and the other had holes in the disc.... how does that happen?

You guys should see some of the carts I handle, it would break your heart.

In my fucking house? Using my fucking internet to bitch about me? Fucking ungrateful cunt. Ugh.

Change the WEP key on your router and be like "yeah, see how you can talk shit about me to people when I cut off your internet asshole."

No, just wait until he leaves, shake his hand, look him dead in the eye and say:

"I have the pictures"

Then slam the door on him.
