I found out reading the article on "Why Handsome Tom Left..." on Healing Touch.

I WAS a big fan of screwattack. After awhile, I noticed that Tom, Liz, and Mickey had disappeared off the face of the planet and I noticed that the quality of the site was getting worse and worse. I figured out what happened through wikipedia, got really, really mad at Craig, and tracked down Tom and the gang through Healing Touch.

During he whole Game Trailers members vs Screw Attack members war, someone old me about this site.

From gametrailers to ScrewAttack and then when Tom left I didn't really look very hard for where Tom, Liz and Mickey went so after a while I decided to go searching. I eventually found what I was looking for from wikipedia saying that Tom had created The Game Heroes. Now here I am. I easily use these forums more than SA's.

Not to sound over dramatic or anything, but when I learned Handsome Tom, Liz, and Mickey had left SA I was honestly pretty bummed. I always felt like I could relate to Tom's gaming knowledge and Liz's humor. When they left, in my opinion the best part of the site left. One day I was trying to find something about Tom and Liz, like a youtube page or a blog or something. I came across the HealingTouch article with Tom, and have been 100% Game Heroes ever since.

i used to visit screwattack all the time, but mostly just to listen to sidescrollers.

it was great to listen to a boot up the 360, play some game, drink a beer, and have a few laughs with sidescrollers

unfortunately we all know what happened then... once tom left i couldn't stand sidescrollers anymore, and craig just seems like a huge jackass. without tom the show became bland and there was just no chemistry

so i came to gameheroes and now i watch their videos.

Around Gametrailers. I've seen many posts saying "What ever happened to Handsome Tom?", Then a member Came around and posted TGH link.

I immediataly clicked, and then I went "Oh, sweet".

Read the thread on SA, the IRC chan was up soon after, I was here a few minutes after the forums went live.

I first found Tom and Liz at Screw Attack. Then after a few months of watching SA, I went on vacation (had no internet access for 1-2 weeks). When I came back there was a Sidescrollers without Tom so I was like "hmm, maybe he's sick" Then there was a Top 10 without Tom and I was like "Huh.... I hope he's O.k and gets better soon" Then a bunch of VGV's without him and another Sidescrollers without him and I was like "O.k, wtf!? Where's Tom at?" I never went on the SA forums so I had no idea what happened.

So I used Wikipedia and read about some disagreement or something and that he left SA with Liz and Mikey. Then I stopped frequenting SA cause I didn't like it much after he left and one day, randomly while on Youtube I saw a video from GH's and was like "!!!! Holy shit!It's Handsome Tom!"

And here I am.

I later ended up joining ScrewAttack, and now TheGameHeroes.
