The writing was on the wall a year ago but it's still sad to see it go.

Listening to it now. I totally agree so far on how odd that All-Star Western is not only awesome, but has me giving a shit about Jonah Hex. The same goes for Swamp Thing. The end of the last issue would have been awesome only because he finally turned into Swamp Thing, but then when you see his &quo...

So it's been a while since I posted here, but after seeing the preview pages of Avengers vs X-Men I needed to hear more people's thoughts on it; particularly the YIBR crew. I wasn't going to bother with AvX because a) I don't follow either team and b) I'm not fond of heroes vs heroes in all out wars...

I'm of the belief that the Watchmen prequels will mostly be good. I've yet to read anything even mediocre by Darwyn Cooke or Brian Azzarello. I could care less about JMS's books, but if his Niteowl book gets a good response I'll pick it up. I don't have a problem with DC doing this either. To put th...

And now just as it's getting good, they're going to scrap it. This is what happens when you charge an extra dollar for a character book about a character most people don't give a shit about. Seriously, Daredevil & Punisher aren't 3.99, what the fuck makes Moon Knight so special? Bendis' name be...

Meant to write this a few weeks ago but I finally saw Tucker and Dale vs Evil 10/10 I don't normally give anything a perfect score, but damn this movie was excellent and it's one more people need to see. It does what the Scary Movie series fails to do: make a funny spoof on the slasher genre, but in...

So we're now five months into the new 52 and I'm curious which books people are still reading? I ended dropping a few and now my list is All-Star Western Animal Man Aquaman Batman Detective Comics Batman & Robin Batgirl Batwoman Nightwing Blue Beetle Catwoman DC Universe Presents Flash Frankenst...

My picks for 2011 Best Book Scott Snyder's run on Detective comics. His Batman is amazing, but its best book was this month's so it doesn't count. Runners up: the new Justice League, Mark Waid's Daredevil, Kevin Eastman's TMNT revival Worst Book Kick-Ass 2. Not only was it dissapointing but the sens...

I think it's too early to make an opinion on it, but I've already seem people lose their minds over the trailer. All I know is that it isn't anything we were told it was going to be: It's not the rumored reboot. It hasn't gone back to its horror roots. It isn't removing itself from what came before ...

I used up Christmas money to buy a year of Playstation+ solely so I can use their cloud saving. I have a backwards compatible PS3 with an 80Gb hard drive and it's been full for the past year (mostly because DCU takes up 15Gbs alone). I was able to free up something like 25Gbs from transferring stuff...

You could say the same about Cain Velasquez. He was rocked two or three times by Kongo but was lucky enough that his wrestling skills were so much better than Kongo's. Then in his fight with JDS all it took was one solid shot to drop him. But I wouldn't call Cain a bad fighter in the least. I honest...

Fuck Brock, glad he's gone. I know there are fighters out there people can't stand. for me its Anderson Silva and the Diaz brothers. Brock was probably one of those guys but I enjoyed watching his fights. He destroyed Randy Couture back when Randy was still considered one of the best fighters in bo...

I was really glad to see Hendricks get that KO tonight. Going into the fight he was my pick even though he was the underdog. I never really considered Fitch the #2 guy in the welterweight devision though. I'm not against guys who stick to their wrestling to win fights, but he never attempts to finis...

I forgot all about this thread. Did you guys see what happened to Minotauro!? damn his shoulder POPPED! That was hard to watch but it was one of the best submissions I've ever seen with Mir holding one after the roll and reversing it. I was bummed to hear about GSP's ACL injury. I was looking forwar...

I find it funny posting this story after you guys went above and beyond the call to try and make up for going off on some people in the industry because you want to be more professional, and then JMS went and started shit with Marvel http://www.bleedingcool.com/2011/12/10/fanboy-rampage-jms-vs-steve...

Muppets 9/10

Really loved it. I've had a lot of the songs stuck in my head for days now.

Do you mean beat this year or is is a cumulative list of games we've finished overall? Just this year: PS3 Back to the Future (all 5 episodes) Batman Arkham Asylum (second play through to collect all of the Riddler puzzles) Batman Arkham City (main story, new game +, all riddler trophies, all cases ...
