I liked the first game and the DLC. I have American Nightmare but I haven't played much of it yet. It's a pretty cool mash up of Twilight Zone and Majora's Mask. It adds a lot more variety with more weapons and enemy types. The actual campaign is on the short side, but the survival mode (think solo...

I know there was a pretty big following for this here. Alan Wake 2 was one of the only things I was looking forward to at the Xbox reveal and it was a no show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qm8PP-Ic240&feature=player_embedded So even though it is a pretty much a cult classic, it didn't sell eno...

Entertainment focused
Tv
Sports
Always Online
Kinect Required
No Used Games

Pretty much confirmed all fears. The shift from a gaming machine to an all in one media box (that still requires a cable box) leaves me feeling pretty much left out in the cold.

Last of Us is still a month away. What else are you going to play? Aliens Colonial Marines?

Bungie is gone
Bioware is gone
Ensemble is gone
Rare is a joke
Lionhead is a joke

What else do they have? Alan Wake 2 maybe?

If they roll out with nexbox and all they have to show for it is Kinect 2.0 and Netflix, then I'm done with MS.

It is the same problem as Halo. You have shoehorn giant space rings into the plot of every game or else the title makes little sense. Same deal with Arkham, they are kind of tied to the name even if the game was little to do with Arkham. Concept sounds cool. It does sound like the b-team who helped ...

http://blogs.technet.com/b/microsoft_blog/archive/2013/04/08/mediaroom-and-our-tv-journey.aspx Xbox is going to focus on tv now? I was joking when I said the next xbox is going to be the first video game console that doesn't actually play video games. I don't think that is very far from the truth now.

It's a rent for everyone except Gears die hards. It is pretty much a glorified expansion disc, too big for DLC, but not enough meat here for a full blown sequel. Gameplay is solid and the two campaigns are solid, but the story is handled poorly and is kind of a throwaway. Overrun is unique and fun, ...

Some questionable picks there. 3 Stooges? Stealth ATF? Pinbot?

Also Cabal is pretty decent. No way it belongs in the scrap heap.

PS4 looks most promising. Really pumped for Infamous and whatever Naughty Dog plans to bring to the table. Wii U has potential, but the library right now is pretty thin outside the core Nintendo stuff. I imagine I'll pick one up in 2 or 3 years when it gets more games. Microsoft just keeps sounding ...

Dead Space 4 Cancelled http://www.videogamer.com/xbox360/dead_space_3/news/dead_space_4_canned_series_in_trouble_following_poor_sales_of_dead_space_3.html While I applaud EA for taking a chance on a niche genre, asking for 5 million sales is a tall order. I don't think the series was ever going to g...

Spoiler
That isn't a moon, it's a necromorph. And there were aliens who built a machine to stop but something went wrong. Now use the machine to stop the moon. Well Issac is dead in space. But we hear his voice at the end.

NES because it saved gaming as we know it. So many stellar series got there start here in addition to piles of hidden gems and forgotten classics. There is just so much imagination and creativity along with great gameplay in those games. Hell even the bad games are more memorable from that era. Whil...
